Importance of being consistent on Twitter

When marketing your business through social media it is important to be consistent to stay in front of your target market and keep up to date with your followers.

Social media platforms, especially twitter are very fast paced so your posts will not usually be seen after 10 minutes. When writing posts on your Twitter account you should interject some personality as you do not want to come across as a faceless corporation, because, as we all know, people buy from people!

Once you have written all your social media marketing messages for your Twitter account for that month you then can schedule them using a programme like Hootsuite, this programme makes the process quick and easy so you don’t take lot of time out of your busy schedule.

After all your messages have been scheduled, all you then need to do is manager and monitor your social media accounts and the all important interaction side of things of course.

It is important to be consistent with your social media accounts because you are reminding friends, connections and followers what it is your business actually does! If you are not posting regular marketing messages your connections will eventually forget about you and your business and this could potentially cause a loss of sales within your business.

Whereas if you are regularly reminding people on social media, you are there, what you do and how you do it, you are at the fore front of their minds when the need for your products or services arises. They can also recommend you to their followers, friends and connections, generating more business for you.
