What a great evening we had, a huge thanks from all of us at The Last Hurdle™ to all who contributed, donated prizes, supported and our 30 guests who attended the event. We raised £456.00 for our charity The Lighthouse Centre! Beating last years effort by over £100. Thank you one and all!
The Last Hurdle Team at BBB 2013
As you can see the bad weather didn’t affect the enjoyment of the evening as we retired to the elegant dining room of the Northampton & County Club. Special thanks to the entire staff at the club for all their hard work on the night. The ingenious staff cooked the BBQ under an awning and wasn’t the food was delicious? The service was impeccable and attentive. Thanks, also go to the team at Braunston, our branded balloons and cocktail umbrellas helped create just the right atmosphere.
The Last Hurdle™ are united in our belief it is our duty to give back to the community and so we support local charities wherever possible.

Gemma Dearsley from The Lighthouse Centre, despite being informed of the requirement just a couple of hours before the event, gave a very moving speech describing how The Lighthouse Centre work with patients suffering from long term and terminal illnesses. Tissues at the ready!
Our glorious leader forgot the balloon ribbon so it was a bit of a rush to dress the room, click the gallery images to enlarge.
Thanks also to Jennifer from Miss Bumble Bees Bakehouse for the very delicious cakes, not a single crumb was left! A special mention and heart felt thanks to the talented Jon Farmer from JP Foto, who got snappy and took a few pics of the evening, strangely no pics of the delicious food though. I think he was a tad busy at that time!
