Another year, another Big Birthday Bash, and this years’ celebration is set to be bigger than ever. The networking event, held on the Thursday the 23rd of June, at 4pm, will feature an auction, garden attractions, a barbecue, plus the chance to network with local business people.

We will once again be raising funds in aid of The Lighthouse Centre, a charity that provides holistic services to those affected by long-term illness and cancers. Last year, the BBB raised over £1,500, and we would love to raise even more this year for such a fantastic cause.
Tickets are just £19 per person (available from The Last Hurdle call 01604 654545) and include a delicious BBQ and a welcome drink courtesy of our host, The Crown, Hardingstone, Northamptonshire, NN4 6BZ. This beautiful venue has been recently refurbished and features stunning and spacious gardens, perfect for a party! All food served at The Crown is top quality, locally sourced and the reviews received have been amazing!
With, historically in excess of 30 local businesses attending, the event provides an invaluable opportunity to network and make some great connections. One of the most exciting parts of the celebration is always the raffle/auction where prizes – donated by local businesses – are raffled and auctioned off to the highest bidder. Our special guests this year will be representatives from the HITZ Programme – Premiership Rugby’s flagship social inclusion programme, supported by the Northampton Saints. Run from Franklin’s Gardens, the programme aims to tackle some of the greatest problems facing young people today – issues such as unemployment, crime, and disillusionment – by using the core values of rugby to give young people direction, motivation, and qualifications. As well as sport, the programme also believes that work experience can be invaluable, particularly for students without formal qualifications, and aims to facilitate the completion of apprenticeships and internships as often as possible.
