The Last Hurdle™ is a rapidly growing business based in Towcester, Northants. We are Business Development Specialists, providing Sales, Marketing, Networking, Social Media Marketing, Online Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) training, strategies, planning, implementation and development.
This will be our second apprentice, with our first one due to successfully complete their apprenticeship in March. This scheme has worked well for the individual and the company we are keen to repeat this success.
Customer Service Apprentice
The ideal candidate for this Customer Service Apprentice role will have the following as a minimum:
- Good telephone manner
- Good time keeping
- A positive attitude
- A desire to learn new skills
- Basic computer skills
- Will be presentable and dressed suitable for a business environment
- An effective communicator
- Respectful and courteous to all business contacts
- Good customer service skills
The position includes, but not exhaustively, the following duties:
- Communicating with clients and colleagues
- Interacting through social media platforms
- Online research
- Social media activities
- Business administrative duties
- Assistant duties to the team
Although the position is predominantly customer service focused, your main duty will be providing assistance where it is needed. Training in all aspects of the business will be provided and the successful applicant will benefit from attending (FOC) any training sessions the company may hold.

Hours 35 per week, occasionally the business requires extra commitment.
Salary is the basic apprenticeship rate, which will be reviewed after a successfully completed probationary period.
Hours of work are 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday
